HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Pink’s hot dog booth in Hollywood closes for a few months starting Sunday.
There was a long line surrounding the building on Sunday, with customers going to fill up before the temporary closure.
Steven Lee was first in line in the morning.
“I had to come as soon as I knew they would be closed for two months because my birthday is in February – February 21 – and this is usually one of my stops. So I’ll have to get a couple to freeze. I suppose “.
Owners say that, with local hospitals in their capacity, they don’t want to risk an employee or client getting sick during the current wave of COVID-19.
This is only Pink’s second stop in its 81-year history. The first was for five months last year at the start of the pandemic.
Pink hopes to reopen in March.
