Pippa Middleton gives birth to her second child with James Matthews

The royal family celebrates happy news.

Pippa Middleton gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Grace Elizabeth Jane, a family source told Page Six on Monday.

Baby Grace was born at 4:22 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces. Pippa, 37, and her husband James Matthews also have a two-year-old son named Arthur.

“Everyone is on the moon,” the source said of the new arrival, adding that this is “lovely news.”

Grace’s birth comes after the explosive interview of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Oprah Winfrey. In the interview, Markle accused Middleton’s older sister, Kate Middleton, of making her cry before her 2018 wedding to Harry.

Without naming specific names, Markle and Harry also claimed that the royal family had discussions about the “darkness” that their son Archie’s skin would have when he was born, which prompted Queen Elizabeth to question the family.

Pippa and Matthews got married in 2017.

While Markle was dating Harry at the time, he skipped the wedding at the last minute because he feared having his own “Pippa moment,” according to the 2020 biography, “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making.” ‘a modern royal family.’ The celebrity behind Pippa stole the show at Kate and Prince William’s 2011 wedding.
