The PlayStation 5 has been a massive hit for Sony, as many gamers around the world are still desperate to get a console.
Fans are so interested in owning a PS5 that the price of about £ 450 of the system will not be a break from the deals. Still, in the difficult financial climate we now live in, many have struggled extraordinarily to hide their new expensive console from their family.
Le Gia Hung’s efforts to keep its brand new PS5, even though it still has it installed in its living room, are impressive.
Realizing he had to disguise the console to avoid some awkward questions, Hung told his family that the PS5 was actually his new Wi-Fi router.
He then made an extra effort with his lie by covering the PlayStation logo on the console with a Wi-Fi sticker, and even hired someone to pose as an engineer to “install” his new computer.
Hung shared his story in a post on Facebook, in which he rushed about the quality of his Internet connection since he made the change. The release included many images of his PS5 to make it clear that Hung was referring to his new console.
“While the new Wi-Fi device is a little big, it’s not a problem,” Hung wrote jokingly.
Social media users were quick to praise Hung for thinking outside the box, and several suggested he deserved to run away from his plot simply because of the commitment that has been there.
“He 100% invested in his lie. How dedicated this man is,” he said in a comment. “I’m not here to judge their relationship or anything else,” another user insisted. “He had to do what he had to do. At least he went to his lie 100%.”
Given that its setup has gone viral, Hung’s family is unlikely to remain unaware of the presence of a PS5 in its main room. That said, the man deserves a lot of credit for plotting the plan in the first place.
The word “legend” was used several times on social media in reference to Hung’s heroic plot. It is a description with which it is difficult to disagree.
