The PlayStation Store will officially have one of the biggest sales of the year starting in a couple of days. While offering many other deep discounts that coincide with last month’s holiday season, this week’s sale could be the largest the platform has offered so far.
Seen by video game search engine @ Wario64 on Twitter, it has been confirmed that the annual PlayStation Store “Holiday Sale” will begin this week on Tuesday, December 22nd. The limited time event will be posting the normal date and time that all other Sony weekly offers, the only difference this time around is that this sale will surely contain a lot more games than normal. Most digital storefronts usually have discounts at this time of year and PlayStation is no different.

The only downside is that at the moment we obviously do not know which games will be included in this sale. PlayStation has simply said that potential consumers will be able to take advantage of “huge savings on games and essential add-ons from December 22.” That said, we’ll likely see all the deals that PlayStation offers soon enough, in addition to other varieties of details.
Before starting this holiday sale, PlayStation is still running its “End of Year Offers” right now. This current promotion offers discounts of up to 80% off with featured games such as Dark Souls III, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Resident Evil 2, i Monster Hunter: World being some of the many titles that have been marked. This promotion will end before the holiday sale is posted, so you don’t have much time to shop.
