PlayStation Now usually pays for $ 9.99 a month at the minimum commitment level, but Sony is currently promoting an offer that gives a month for even less. For a limited time, PlayStation Now subscribers can get a month for just $ 1, an offer that also offers Xbox Game Pass and that is the norm for a while. The PlayStation Now promotion can only be released until March 29, so if you’re interested in taking advantage of it, now is the time to do so.
The PlayStation Now offer appeared this week on the site enabled for the PlayStation subscription service without much luck, but was noticed by offer observers like Wario 64. The final tile of the PlayStation Now site usually announces a subscription of ‘a month for $ 9.99, but has been temporarily replaced by the new deal.

As with these types of promotions, there are some catches on offer. It is only available live until March 29, and is only available to inactive subscribers. This means that if you already have a PlayStation Now subscription, you can’t add another month for $ 1. You will also be responsible for canceling your own subscription after purchasing at that price, or else you will be charged the monthly price of $ 9.99 once the promotion expires and the subscription is renewed.
While a $ 1 entry point for a month isn’t an unusual offering for these types of services, it’s what PlayStation Now’s main competitor, Xbox Game Pass, has routinely offered. In fact, Xbox offers a month-long Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $ 1, the subscription that includes Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass all in one. This package only costs $ 14.99 a month, which has made it an attractive offer for avid Xbox gamers looking to get the most out of their subscriptions. PlayStation does not offer any competitive packages and sells PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now separately.
Recently, Sony ran a promotion that would return people $ 15 in PSN credits if they bought a 12-month subscription to PlayStation Now or PlayStation Plus. As part of Sony’s “Play at Home” initiative, the company has also recently created nine free games for all PlayStation 4 users, and you don’t even need to have a PlayStation Plus to get them.
