TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health will not update the daily release of Florida coronavirus data due to the Christmas break, it was announced Friday.
COVID-19 reports will be available Saturday, Dec. 26, according to a Florida Department of Health tweet.
In recognition of the Christmas holidays, the Department will not issue COVID-19 reports today. Reports will resume tomorrow, December 26th.

This is the second time since the state began reporting the numbers. The data was not published last month in Thanksgiving.
Florida health officials on Thursday reported 13,147 new cases of COVID-19 and another 121 deaths attributed to the virus.
On Thursday, the state confirmed 1,247,546 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began and 20,995 deaths of residents. Miami-Dade County reported another day of more than 2,000 new cases with 283,285 reported cases and 12 deaths, reaching 4,108.
New Broward County cases exceeded 1,000, with 130,978 cases overall and 1,798 deaths with two deaths reported Thursday.
In addition, many of the state-operated test sites will remain closed during the holiday weekend.
