Police – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The bodies of six people were found inside an Allen house in the early hours of Monday morning in an apparent mass murder-suicide, according to Allen police.

Officers were asked to conduct a welfare check at approximately 1 a.m. at a 1500 block home on Pine Bluff Drive. When officers entered the residence, they discovered the bodies of six people.

The names and ages of the victims have not been confirmed, but police said they included a grandfather, two parents and three children.

“It appears that two teenage children agreed to commit suicide and take their relatives away,” police sergeant Allen explains. Jon Felty told KRLD-AM Monday morning.

It has not been confirmed when the deaths occurred.

Felty said there is no threat to the neighborhood and that no problems were reported in the house, KRLD reported.

The family, according to Felty, appears to have emigrated from Bangladesh.
