Raleigh, North Carolina – Several shots were fired Thursday night inside the Crabtree Valley Mall on Glenwood Avenue.
The shootings occurred on the first floor near an exit, according to officials. As of 10 p.m., there have been no complaints.
Several police cars and ambulances responded to the scene after reports of the shooting.
At this time, there is no active shooter inside the mall, officials said.
Police said they believed the two people involved in the shooting knew each other.
Most of the mall has been evacuated and is closed at night.
WRAL spectators at the mall said they heard gunshots while shopping inside. When they heard the shots, they hid.
So far, police have blocked some entrances to the mall.
