In the poll, Trump gets favorable ratings from 81% of voters who are registered Republicans or affiliated as Republicans, while 88% said he approved of the work Trump did as president.

In a potential GOP primary in 2024, Trump gets the support of 51% of GOP voters. No other potential candidate breaks double digits in the poll.

The results of the 2024 primary race survey were revealed last week.

The poll is the latest poll showing that Trump continues to be popularly popular among GOP bases, even after his national approval rating fell after the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill.

However, Fabrizio’s poll found divisions within the Republican Party and divided them into five groups: “Diehard Trumpers,” who say the former president should lead the party and vote for him “definitely” in the primaries. ; “Trump Boosters,” a slight majority of whom would support Trump in a primary; Voters in the “Post-Trump GOP,” who have a strong opinion on the work Trump has done, but believe he should not run in 2024; “Never Trump” Republicans who almost unanimously agree with Trump should not lead the party; and “Infowars GOP” voters, who have Trump’s almost unanimous support and believe conspiracy theories like QAnon.

The poll shows that the former president in a possible 2024 primary is receiving zero percent support from post-Trump Republicans and never from Trumpers. He gets 55% support among those who are characterized as “Trump Boosters,” 100% support among “tough” Trump supporters, and 80% support among “Infowars” Republicans.

According to the poll, the Diehard Trumpers and Trump Boosters of the poll account for 27% and 28% of the party. Post-Trump Republicans make up 20%, followed by Never Trumpers at 15% and Infowars Republicans at 10%.

“President Trump still has a huge influence on the party,” Fabrizio wrote in the poll, “but it’s not universal or homogeneous.”

Fabrizio’s poll polled 1,264 Republican Party voters from Feb. 20 to March 2 and has a margin of error of 2.76 percent.
