Saturday’s Powerball raffle resulted in a $ 1 million prize for someone who bought a ticket at a Wake County convenience store.
The lucky ticket won the top prize nationally in Saturday’s draw.
The winner bought the ticket at Bayleaf Convenience & Deli at Six Forks Road in Raleigh and has 180 days from the draw to claim their prizes.
The $ 2 bill matched the numbers on the five white balls, 1-16-48-49-65. The odds of matching the five white balls in a Powerball drawing are 1 in 11.6 million.
No one won the Powerball award on Saturday. The prize will increase to $ 42 million in annuities or $ 31 million in cash for Wednesday’s draw. The odds of winning a Powerball prize are 1 in 292 million.
