Apple announced on Tuesday at its special event the sixth-generation iPad mini with a new design based on the iPad Air 4 and iPad Pro. Customers can now book the new iPad mini on Apple’s website, and the first delivery is expected next week.
The first orders for the sixth-generation iPad mini are expected to arrive next Friday, September 24, but we expect shipping deadlines to slip quickly for the rest of the morning. The Apple Store app and Apple Online Store are back online for some users, so keep checking to see if you haven’t seen it yet.
The sixth-generation iPad mini comes with reduced bezels and a new 8.3-inch end-to-end display. It includes Touch ID built into the power button, better cameras and the faster A15 Bionic chip, just like the iPhone 13. It is available in 64GB and 256GB configurations with Wi-Fi and also Cellular.
It is worth noting that the new iPad mini is compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil, as in the latest models of iPad Air and iPad Pro.
Thanks to its new design, the new iPad mini supports the second-generation Apple stylus, which can be magnetically attached to the side of the device.
The new iPad mini starts at $ 499 for the 64GB Wi-Fi version and $ 649 for 256GB. The additional cost to add mobile connectivity is $ 150 for each model.
