Premier League Fibbed about being ready to play
Jose Mourinho he shouted Gareth Bale to lie about his fitness on social media.
Bale posted on Instagram on Tuesday to declare himself ready to play, but then lost Tottenham Hotspur FA Cup draw against Everton Wednesday with a muscle problem.
The Welshman had posted a positive training session, despite feeling uncomfortable and having been scanned the day before.
“I don’t even know his responsibility,” he suggested Mourinho.
“But the message showed‘ fantastic workout and I’m ready ’and I was totally wrong.
“It was a contradiction between publication and reality.”
He Let’s wait the chief explained that although Monday’s scan revealed nothing, Bale he still had discomfort and that’s why he didn’t play against Everton.
“He did an scan, the scan showed no injuries, but his feelings were still there and the coaches, the science of sports and the medical people … we can never go against the feelings, because the feelings of the player are much more important than all of us, “he said Mourinho.
