controversy

The head of the National Directorate of Girls, Boys, Adolescents and the Family of the Public Ministry, Olga dina Llaverías, summoned to her office in Motyka earlier this week, after the foundation published the case of a girl of twelve years pregnant after being sexually abused.

There they signed a document which stipulated that in no more than seven days, from last Tuesday, Jompéame would have to dismantle from its digital platforms “all the publications that expose children and adolescents”.

It also prohibits the foundation from any related publication, nor from exposing data, information, and images that affect the privacy, image, and integrity of children.

reaction

After the action of the Public Ministry, Motyka offered an interview where he cried when he expressed that he does not understand why they force him to remove the said images, assuring that they are doing their job to help these families who have to be protected by the state.

“We also didn’t understand why all this happened. We understand the issue of the law, we understand the issue of the protection of the image of children and adolescents, but we also understand that just like this law, this article in the code of protection of the minors, likewise is that the State has to guarantee all his rights to the childhood “, declared Katherine.
