President Abinader attends Naval Academy graduation

President Luis Abinader will lead this Friday the sixty-ninth graduation of guards of the Naval Academy Caesar of Windt Lavandier.

The promotion of graduates in Naval Sciences it is composed of seven ladies and 20 gentlemen who entered this academy in 2016, and from now on will serve the Dominican State to exercise control of the maritime territory.

The honorary graduate corresponded to fourth-year Marine Guard Alberto Leocadio Santana, Who received recognition from the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa.

while the recognition of distinguished midshipman was given to Miracles of Carmen Urriola Palau, Panamanian.

From the hands of the first president, the 27 lieutenant lieutenants received the lightsaber.

“I want to greet and congratulate them,” the first president told the mothers of the graduates, who minutes earlier they had given their children the new quepis during the graduation jubilee.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth, Llum de l’Alba Jiménez; the head of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Franklin García Fermín; and the mayor of Santo Domingo Este, Manuel Jiménez.

The Argentine ambassador, the ambassador of Panama and senior officials from Colombia and the United States also took part in the graduation.
