Prince Harry and his brother Prince William spent two hours together behind closed doors after his grandfather’s funeral on Saturday amid his long break-up, according to a report.
The brothers at war joined their father, Prince Charles, at Windsor Castle after the royal family let Prince Philip rest, a source told The Sun.
One source described the communication between the three as “unproductive”, but a privileged person told the press that it could be seen as a step in the right direction amid the fraternal struggle.
The feud intensified after the bombshell interview Oprah Winfrey of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
“These are early days, but you’ll expect this to be exactly the first step Philip would have wished for,” a source said at the end of the time the family spent together.
“It is not known what was said behind closed doors and when the cameras were turned off, but it is unfathomable to think that Megxit and Oprah did not come out,” a source added.
Harry and William were also seen chatting publicly for several minutes during the televised funeral. But apparently William asked them to separate as they followed the coffin to St. George’s Chapel.
Harry is expected to face his pregnant wife at home on Monday.
Meanwhile, in the coming weeks, another important meeting will take place between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, where the two will discuss the future structure of the royal house.
Charles and William will consult with the Queen to determine the number of full-time members of the royal family and their corresponding roles over the next two generations, sources told The Telegraph.
