Prince Harry struggles to return home for Prince Philip’s funeral

Prince Harry has been on the phone with several members of the British royal family, including his father, Prince Charles, as he struggles to return to his homeland for the funeral services of his grandfather, Prince Philip.

Members of the region said Harry, 36, is “in pain” with his family, just a month after he and his wife Meghan Markle sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which sparked deep fissures between him and Buckingham Palace.

Harry called his cousins Beatrice and Eugenie on Friday, a source told the Mirror, to explain their plans.

“He said he wants to be with everyone and that he was already making arrangements to get home,” the informant said.

It will be Harry’s first return to Britain since he and Markle left for California a year ago, and he will travel alone, according to sources, with his wife in their final months of pregnancy.
