Forget Oprah: James Corden is available to listen.
The host of “The Late Late Show” took the recent California transplant to Prince Harry on a guided tour of Los Angeles, jumping on a two-story bus for afternoon tea while Corden intended to show Harry houses of the rich and famous, including what he guessed he could ‘I have been the residence of David Schwimmer.
While Corden forged his way through Los Angeles real estate, he and Harry passed by the royal house featured in “The Fresh Price of Bel-Air,” where Harry impressed the host of CBS shaving the show’s iconic song.
While they were there, Harry and Corden reunited with the family living in the mansion and joked about buying them. Although he did not take the coveted property, Harry used the bathroom.
Corden also spoke with Harry about why he and his current pregnant Meghan Markle not only left the UK, but also chose to step down from their royal duties.
“He never walked away; he took a step back, instead of going down,” Harry, 36, told Corden. “It was a really difficult environment, as I think a lot of people saw it. We all know what the British press can be like and it was destroying my mental health. He was telling me, “This is toxic.”
“So I did what any husband would do and what any father would do. I have to get my family out of here.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved England for a $ 14 million estate in Montecito, California, to raise their young son, Archie, and his growing family. Despite the movement that took place throughout the pond, Harry insisted that he and Meghan, 39, were not leaving their duties.
“It simply came to our notice then. And as for me, whatever decisions are made on this side, I will never leave, ”he said. “I will always contribute, but my life is a public service, so wherever I am in the world, it will be the same.”
Harry’s conversation with Corden echoed Meghan’s official statement and hers refuting Queen Elizabeth II’s announcement that the duo had resigned. In the concise answer, the couple said they were “committed” to a life of service, as it is “universal.”
Meghan briefly appeared on the duet’s tour on FaceTime Harry, whom she calls “Haz”, to keep her from succumbing to Corden’s pressure to buy the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” mansion.
“I think we’ve made enough movement,” he joked.
Although they won’t be moving to the famous mansion, Harry paid homage to the sitcom by shaving his famous introduction with a little help from Tony’s winner Corden.
