Frank Morano, who opened the store in 2012, and his son Dominic Morano, will continue to own the restaurant, but will no longer participate in day-to-day operations, interact with customers or participate in management. Eater.
The drop in grace comes after food blogger Joe Rosenthal began posting screenshots of the vitriol comments on his Instagram on Dec. 24, prompting people to flood the company’s Yelp page with negative reviews. , the media reported.
In the first incident in September 2017, Frank responded to a bad review by Yelp calling the client a “mestizo,” a “mutt,” and a “yellow dog,” a term considered racist against Asians.

In other reviews, Frank violently threatened customers, calling the prey a “hillbilly punk” and a “communist scoundrel.”

Prince Street Pizza posted a two-page statement on the comments; they promised to do better.
“We care deeply about our customers’ feedback and take it very seriously when a customer has a negative experience in one of our stores, ”the statement said.

“What we said and how we behaved was wrong then, today is wrong and we will always be wrong. We truly apologize and empathize for the harm we caused in these incidents and apologize to all our Prince Street Pizza customers, ”the statement said.
