You will have to excuse this writer if he has to do any research about the two offers coming in Prinny presents NIS Classics Vol. 2, tracking up to – yes – Volume 1. This first volume only arrived recently and while we weren’t particularly thrilled with the collection of our review, it nonetheless recaptured a couple of classic cult role-playing games in one package.
Volume 2 will head to Switch in the spring of next year and again includes two role-playing games: Makai Kingdom: Recovered and Bounced and the brilliant title ZHP: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman; we suspect that Darkdeath Evilman could be the bad guy, and that he could have been named by Hideo Kojima.
It seems that Makai Kingdom originally had a subtitle of [checks notes] Chronicles of the sacred volume, released on PlayStation 2 in 2005 and then on a reissue on PSP six years later. ZHP: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman was originally on PSP in 2010.
Below are some PR issues, which describe new content that will include:
– Zetta … But Betta !: In Makai Kingdom: Recovered and Bounced, Lord Zetta, master of tactical warfare, aims to invade and reclaim the underworld: like a book! Use clever strategies and powerful magic, along with deadly weapons ranging from long swords to rocket launchers to take control of your enemies’ land. Also, summon your army through the INVITE system, start the battlefield with new characters, and immerse yourself in Petta mode for a whole new story.
– Build-a-Ranger: In ZHP: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman, your character is tailor-made to throw as many enemies on the sidewalk as you want. Use the deep customization system to dress your ranger from head to toe, establish your own base, and make your way through a wide range of randomly generated maps to forge your own heroic story.
There will also be luxury and limited editions that can be ordered from the official NISA Europe store from 10 September.
