Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
An agent from Public Order Military Police (PMOP) he was killed last night inside the Támara National Penitentiary, authorities said.
So far, it is known that the victim was identified as Pedro López Mejía (26), Originally from the municipality of Santa Elena to La Paz.
He was allegedly killed by a detainee, who used a padlock to attack the agent and end his life, after several blows.

According to the report, the victim was carrying food to the inmate when the violent incident occurred. The agent was assigned to the Fifth Battalion Military police.
The body of the now-killed man was transferred to the forensic medicine directorate of Tegucigalpa, Capital of Honduras.
