In the professional field, Priyanka was recently in New Delhi (India) to shoot his first Netflix film, The white tiger, where he will perform alongside Rajkummar Rao. The film is based on the book awarded by Aravind Adiga of the same name. Both Priyanka and Rajkummar will be the headlines of the film and filming is expected to begin later this year, which, following the latest PeeCee releases, appears to be underway according to schedule.
Aside from starring in the film, Priyanka also joins the team as executive producer. Netflix produces the film in association with Mukul Deora, while director Bahrani also writes the script. The white tiger it follows the extraordinary journey of a self-made man from a weaver worker in a village to a successful businessman in a big city.
