The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) sent to the party’s National Prosecutor, the charge against Deputy Sadoky Duarte, who allegedly assaulted a National Police officer.
Through its Twitter account, the PRM issued a statement stating that they had received information about the point that the deputy has from the National Police.
“We have received information that there is a report from the National Police to MP Sadoky Duarte, a member of our Bloc of Deputies for assaulting a police officer. We have arranged for this case to be sent to the National Prosecutor of the party for the purposes of siege, “the statement said.
In addition, they pointed out that “any member of this organization who violates the rules of public order will have to answer personally for their actions.”
On this accusation, the President of the PRM and Administrative Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Pallissa, expressed that he will submit to the expulsion of Sadoky Duarte.
“I will submit to the expulsion of Sadoki Duarte, a member of the National Congress, who attacked a young PN member yesterday while performing his duties at night. This society needs examples,” tweeted Pallissa.
An alleged assault by deputy Sadoky Duarte on a woman belonging to the National Police was made public on social media, in an incident that apparently occurred during the curfew in the municipality of Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez province.
