The president of the Progressive Women’s Organization, Representative Jackeline ‘Jackie’ Rodriguez, today on Tuesday mourned the death of Ada Skerret, who led the People’s Women’s Organization, as a result of VOCID-19.
Skerrett died after being hospitalized for several weeks.
“This is sad news for everyone. We have always recognized the fervor with which Ada defended her postulates, always in a framework of respect and dignity. Today Puerto Rico loses a great woman, an important political leader for our Island “The enrollment of the Women’s Organization of the New Progressive Party we join in prayer for Ada’s eternal rest,” Rodriguez reacted in written statements.
“Our prayers and prayers are with his family and friends today at this difficult time,” he added.
