Starting January 5, 2021, you can order a retro-inspired PlayStation 2-themed PS5.
You may remember it, but earlier this month there was a mock-up of the design from whattheefth and SUP3R5. He received such an overwhelming response that SUP3R5 goes there and creates a DualSense driver for $ 99 or a console from $ 649.
The bad news is that these limited edition consoles will be sold at a lot low supply. SUP3R5 confirmed in an email that it will only manufacture 500 DualSense drivers and 304 consoles, making it a serious item.
While these are unofficial and SUP3R5 stresses that it has no affiliation with Sony, they will likely recover quickly.
SUP3R5 explained: “We feel compelled to do so based on everyone’s unexpectedly positive response. They added that as they will modify existing components rather than manufacture them, they do not expect to have legal issues from Sony.

A Reddit poll at the time of release found that the vast majority of PlayStation fans planned to use annual licenses or take out a good old-fashioned illness to spend some quality time with next-generation hardware.
Although the results of a Reddit poll are incomplete, a separate study conducted by executives.co.uk found that 66.5% of fans were taking the day the PS5 starts work.
On a slightly more troubling note, a few of the Reddit thread wrote that they didn’t take the day off to be able to play on the console, but rather that their prized package wasn’t sitting away from home all day.
