PS5 SSD Deals: What’s on Sale?

It’s official: with the latest firmware update, you can now add an SSD to your PS5. But Sony’s new console won’t have any SSDs you have around. Solid state drives must meet some very specific metrics or else they won’t fit, may overheat, or just won’t work on your PS5. You can see our full summary of PS5 SSDs for full details.

But to solve the confusion, all the following SSDs are PS5 compatible. Better yet, they are also for sale. We have separated those that come with a heat sink from those that don’t. If you have one without a heat sink, you can add your own before installing it on your PS5, though you’ll need to make sure it fits in the slot. Let’s go to the merchandise.

PS5 compatible SSD with heatsink

2 TB - Corsair Force Series MP600 Gen4 PCIe X4 NVMe M.2 SSD

Heat sink included

2 TB – Corsair Force Series MP600 Gen4 PCIe X4 NVMe M.2 SSD

Note: You may want to use a shorter third-party heatsink, as the one included may be a little too high to fit comfortably under the deck.

1 TB - Corsair Force Series MP600 Gen4 PCIe X4 NVMe M.2 SSD

Heat sink included

1 TB – Corsair Force Series MP600 Gen4 PCIe X4 NVMe M.2 SSD

Note: You may want to use a shorter third-party heatsink, as the one included may be a little too high to fit comfortably under the deck.

Installing a heatsink isn’t hard, but you need to make sure you buy a heatsink that doesn’t make the SSD too thick to fit in the PS5’s expansion slot. The above SSDs are in stock, are for sale, include heatsink and fit the PS5.
