PSN is back online after being hit by account, social media and PlayStation Store issues

PSN down

Updated (23:50 BST): Ugh, it seems that the PSN has finally got back on its feet after about three and a half hours of broadcasts. We hope the navigation is smooth from here.

Updated (22:40 BST): It’s been more than two hours since the PSN started falling and PlayStation has yet to acknowledge the situation on social media. No updates were provided at the time of writing and network issues continue.

Original story: PlayStation Network currently has issues with all of its services, as users are unable to access account settings, social media, the PlayStation Store, and in some cases online games.

Lack of account management also means that some users may not be able to play their digital games. The only way to make sure the digital library can be played offline is to set the console to “main” on the PS4 or, on the PS5, turn on “console sharing and offline playback. “.

Hopefully this is just a mistake, and Sony will have it sorted out soon. We will update this article if we know anything else.

In the meantime, give us a status report in the comments section below.
