Tegucigalpa.

After obtaining the formal prosecution for Marco Bográn and Alex Moraes, former officials of Invest-H, the Honduran Public Ministry asked the International Police (Interpol) for the arrest of Axel López, legal representative of HospitalesMoviles.com and Elmed Medical Systems INC, involved in the irregular sale of mobile hospitals in Honduras.

In this sense, and by virtue of the whereabouts of his whereabouts, the MP made the formalities in court so that an international arrest warrant could be issued against the businessman of Guatemalan origin.

Yuri Mora, communications officer of the Public Ministry, Mentioned that Axel López was included in the tax requirement in which they are also charged Marc Bográn and Alex Moraes.

It should be remembered that Axel López was the intermediary in the acquisition of the mobile hospitals carried out by Invest-H. The businessman bought the hospital modules from a company in Turkey and sold them to Honduras Strategic Investment.

In this transaction, says the Public Ministry, Axel López would have earned more than 20 million dollars (more than 480 million lempiras).

Marco Bográn made the direct purchase of mobile hospitals, for which Invest-H paid in cash $ 48 million (1.2 billion lempiras). The modules were to be delivered “turnkey”, that is, ready to go into operation; but only the one in Sant Pere Sula works, another that was installed in Tegucigalpa is not suitable for caring for covid patients, while the other five have not yet been installed.

In the tax requirement, the prosecution accuses Axel López of two offenses of fraud to the detriment of the Public Administration as a necessary cooperator.
