A Puerto Rican resident of Lares died yesterday, Wednesday, in Medellin, Colombia, after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
According to El Colombià, this is a woman identified as Maria Isabel Rosat Otero, who traveled to Medellín to undergo various surgeries at a clinic called IPS SOFINA Clinic in El Poblat.
Her husband, Henry Ramirez, also underwent a process known as liposuction, and left surgery without any problems.
However, his 59-year-old wife had complications after the operation and had to be rushed to the emergency room at night.
His intention was to perform a liposuction with gluteal transfer.
Rosat Otero was a renowned stylist in Lares, where she had a business known as Chavela’s Salon.
The Municipality of Lares took to social media to mourn the departure of Rosat Otero.
“The Autonomous Municipality of Lares, its Hon. Mayor, Fabián Arroyo Rodríguez and the First Lady, Claudia Maria Deferia Molini, join the grief of the family Ramírez Rosado and that of our friend and colleague Henry Ramírez, then of the death of his wife, Maria Isabel, whom we affectionately know as Chavela, “they said.
