Puerto Rico would now be ranked as the sixth jurisdiction in the world where more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, according to a graph published by the Financial Times.
In data collected from sources such as the World Health Organization and Johns Hopkins University, Puerto Rico ranks below the United States in vaccine administration.
According to the graph, 3.3 doses of the vaccine have been administered for every 100 residents of the island.
The sites are distributed as follows:
- Israel with 2.7 million doses administered.
- United Arab Emirates with 2.1 million doses
- Bahrain with 0.100,000 doses
- United Kingdom with 4,700,000 doses
- United States with 12,200,000 doses
- Puerto Rico with 0.100,000 doses
The total number of vaccines that have been applied in around 60 countries now exceeds 42 million, according to the Financial Times.

“We won’t rest until everyone gets vaccinated,” he continued.
Puerto Rico today received a total of 82,259 confirmed cases of VOCID-19 since the start of the pandemic, as well as 1,703 deaths as a result of viruses.
Today began operating the first three vaccination centers in the towns of Bayamón, Mayagüez and San Juan, aimed at applying the doses to education staff of the public system and private schools.
