Wide release: The 30-second trailer was first posted on the series’ official Twitter account
The trailer begins with Latifah, who portrays Robyn McCall, walking with her daughter Delilah, played by Laya DeLeon.
When her son asked her why she abruptly quit her job a month earlier, a quick series of shots depicting Latifah training in a gym and off a street are shown, and the 50-year-old actress replies: “It’s complicated”.
Another montage of shots is seen, many of which feature the Grammy-winning singer holding a gun during an operation with other people and eventually finding several young women hidden in a closet.
She is then seen talking to former CIA director William Bishop, played by Chris Noth, who informs her that the agency is recovering from its surveillance activities, to which she responds that she is no longer under her jurisdiction.

Remake: The next show is a remake of the 80’s action drama series, which aired on CBS

Then, Latifah confronts a friend of his who asks him if he is: “a kind of former police officer”, to which he replies that he has become “the one you call when you can’t call 911”.
Then there is a brief physical exchange where he pushes a criminal against a wall, to his surprise, and the material ends.
