Rachel Leigh joins the remake of ‘She’s That’

Rachel Le Cook, the star of the 1999 film “She’s All That”, has teamed up with the cast of Miramax’s transgender remake titled “He’s Everything”.

Cook will play the mother of Budget Sawyer, the protagonist of the remake starring Dictok star Addison Ray. Original 1999, starring Lonnie Fox Cook, a loving art genius created by Zachary Sailor, the character of Freddie Prince Jr.

Inspired by Zachary and “Cobra Guy” actor Danner Buchanan, “He’s All” plays Cameron Queller, the most famous boy in school. In an attempt to avenge her reputation from an embarrassing fallout with her boyfriend, Budget accepts the challenge of turning Cameron into the school’s prom king.

“I’m glad to be reunited with so many familiar faces! This edition has a whole new twist and I think people will enjoy it a lot,” Cook said.

Cook most recently starred in Netflix’s “Love, Guaranteed”, the No. 1 most-watched film of September. In an interview Variety Commenting on his new film and the experience of “she’s”, Cook said: “Every day I am thankful that I have not come of age in the era of camera phones, and yet, it makes me feel worse than I really was.”

Directed by Mark Waters – he wrote “Average Girls” and “Freaky Silver” – “He’s the One”. Lee Fleming wrote, “She is everything”. Original producers Jennifer Gibbott and Andrew Banoy are also on board, and the film is being produced by Miramax.

“He’s All” stars Madison Bettis, Beyton Mayer, Isabella Crovetti, Andrew Madrasso, Vanessa Duboso, Myra Malloy, Annie Jacob, Brian Torres, Rommel de Silva, Dominic Goodman, Ryan Hollis and Tiffany Simon.
