Raiders QB Derek Carr throws a definite insult at the Steelers

If the Pittsburgh Steelers needed any extra motivation this week, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr gave it to them. Well, at least in the fan base. Carr spoke to the media on Wednesday, and when asked what he knew about the historic rivalry between the Steelers and the Raiders, Carr offered a single line.

“The ball hit the ground.”

Carr is talking, of course, about the famous Immaculate Reception and the touchdown catch by Steelers runner Franco Harris against the Oakland Raiders in the 1972 AFC playoffs.
