The Los Angeles Rams have been unlucky enough to run this summer. With Cam Akers already out of the year and Raymond Calais losing 4 to 6 months with a foot fracture, Darrell Henderson Jr. is now hit.
Sean McVay told reporters Monday after practice that Henderson injured his thumb and was unable to return. McVay did not immediately know the severity, but Ian Rapoport had an update later.

According to Rapoport, Henderson has a sprained thumb and avoided a serious injury.

Henderson is in line to get a bigger workload this season as a starter, but injuries have limited him in his first two seasons. Fortunately, his thumb injury is not at all serious and he should at least return before week 1.
Behind Henderson are Jake Funk and Xavier Jones, as well as Otis Anderson Jr. These three are expected to handle all the effects on Saturday in the preseason finale.
McVay has kept Henderson and the rest of the Rams starters out of preseason action to avoid possible injuries.
