He Rams they have found their new special teams coordinator as the team has announced that they have hired Joe DeCamillis. The veteran coach will replace him Joan Bonamego, moving on to the role of assistant senior coach.

DeCamillis brings 32 years of coaching experience to the NFL, including the last four years as a Jaguars special teams coordinator. During his time in Jacksonville, the team traditionally ranked in the top ten in many special teams categories, and in 2019, DeCamillis helped guide the pointer. Logan Cooke and kicker Josh Lambo to become the first teammates to lead the NFL in net average scoring and field goal percentage.

Before working with the Jaguars, the 55-year-old spent time as a special teams coordinator with the Broncos, Bears and Cowboys, and also spent time on the Falcons and Giants training teams.

Bonamego, 57, joined the Rams last February. He spent the 2019 season as the Lions special teams coordinator and was central Michigan’s head coach between the 2015 and 2018 seasons.
