Random: Nintendo had to “politely decline” the opportunity to work with Kayne West, says Reggie

Collaborations with musicians are not uncommon in the video game industry (we still shudder when they remind us of similar things) Kris Kross: Make my video and the heavy Aerosmith Revolution X) and it looks like we almost had a similar team between Nintendo and the same good man Yeezy.

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has explained that during an E3 show a few years ago, Kanye West visited the Nintendo booth and spent some time chatting with the only Shigeru Miyamoto. After this mental meeting, West later invited Reggie to a meeting in his fashion business office, with his wife Kim Kardashian also in attendance, placing the former Nintendo president in a fairly tight spot:

One part talked about what he was doing. I was experimenting with a piece of video game content; he wanted reactions. He comes out and says, “I want to work with Nintendo.” We had so many different projects at Nintendo, the chance to do something with Kanye just wasn’t there, and that’s why I had to find a way to politely turn down this opportunity to work with him. I said, ‘Kanye, you don’t want to work with us because we’re tough, we’re tough. All we do is drive the best content. We wouldn’t be the kind of partner you’d like to work with. ”And he looks at me and says,“ Reggie, you’re exactly the kind of partner I want for that reason. ”It’s like,“ Oh, my God. ”

Kanye has such a passion for the video game space and is a creator.
