Since the arrival of the Switch, users have asked Nintendo to improve the hybrid system interface. One of the most important requests is the addition of folders, but other than that, fans would also like to be able to change the background colors and even replace them with wallpapers.

While there’s no sign that we’ll get any of this in the future, that hasn’t stopped some Switch fans from being able to imagine what the device’s UI might look like if Nintendo had to refresh it. The latest redesign of the Reddit user “porcorousseauu” seems to be inspired at least by the user interface of the Apple operating system for mobile phones and tablets, iOS.

As you can see, there are also transparent menus, curved edges, colored backgrounds and folders. There is even a makeover of Switch eShop. While it’s obviously not the first time we’ve seen Switch redesign, it’s certainly a unique take on comparison to many previous models.
