Random: Twitter has just defeated the leader of the Misty water gym at Pokémon Red

It’s been more than a week since Twitter began its journey to the classic Game Boy Red Pokémon.

In case you missed it, users of this social networking platform have been reproducing the original Game Boy title within the avatar of the Twitter profile of Gameloft Montreal programmer Constantin Liétard (@screenshakes).

So what’s new? The brain behind this experiment on social media has just confirmed that the leader of the Cerulean City-type gym, Misty, has finally been defeated. The Cascade badge has been acquired.

It seems that level 18 Oddish (nicknamed CURSE) was able to reach the end.

The rest of the group currently consists of a level 16 Spearow (SPEAROW), a level 14 Wigglytuff (POP), a level 24 Wartortle (AMAYBE), a level 16 Geodude (ABBPRI) and a level 10 Abra called Alakazam.
