Raper TI and his wife are accused of sexually abusing women – US and Canada – International


Accusations of sexual violence against rapper TI and his wife, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, have surfaced on social media.

Eleven people are involved in the scandal: 4 claim to have been drugged and assaulted by the couple and two of the cases correspond to alleged violations occurred in Georgia and California, in the United States.

The New York Times published the testimony of Tyrone Blackburn, the victims’ lawyer, who claims that abuses have been reported since 2005. The most recent, he said, occurred between 2017 and 2018.

It also clarifies that the victims did not know each other, but described similar behaviors by IT and ‘Tiny’: “Sexual abuse, forced consumption of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terrorist threats and false imprisonment.”

According to the lawyer, the victims have remained anonymous, then they fear for their lives and their safety.

The reason? they consider that the rapper is in a position of power and, moreover, in the past he was convicted of carrying weapons.

IT and ‘Tiny’, meanwhile, denied all charges through their lawyer, Steve Sadow. IT itself posted a video on its Instagram account in which he refers to the accusations.

“That’s their strategy, to tell a lot of fake things. They call me a liar and that’s defamation,” he said.

In addition, he added, “anything we have ever done has been with consent. We have never forced anyone, we have not drugged a person or detained them against their will. We have never forced anyone to do anything“.

For now, the authorities already have the information for each case and will have to coordinate between the two states (Georgia and California) to conduct the investigation.
