Rapper OG YD is identified as the victim of a fatal shooting on the highway in San Diego
San Diego authorities on Thursday identified rapper Martell ‘OG YD’ Dean as the victim of a deadly highway shooting in his hometown of San Diego.
Dean, 37, was one of three people traveling on Interstate 805 heading south toward which she was shot, the California Highway Patrol reported in The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Two people were shot during the incident, which took place around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, near Imperial Avenue, according to police.

Dean died at a hospital while the other victim of the shooting had to recover, police said.
In an OnScene TV video, it was seen that the first attendees tended to Dean next to a white Dodge Charger that was full of bullet holes.
In the clip, another bloody man was seen with a cloth tied to his arm.
OG YD was successful on his YouTube account, with nearly 10,000 views on his Tag theme video and over 8,000 views on his Came From Nothin theme.
