Raúl Armando de la Vall joins Grup Mania

Merenguero Raúl Armando de la Vall joins the front of the Grup Mania orchestra after Rubiel Barroso left the group for personal reasons, announced founding member Banchy Serrano.

De la Vall, who belonged to the Karis Group, in addition to trying his luck as a soloist, had ruled out continuing on stage and was in a self-imposed “retirement” until he received the proposal from the handle of Grup Mania, Alexis Vázquez, to join the handle.

“I was really retired, basically, I was focused, working, when Alexis comes to me and makes me this proposal. I had decided that my career was over, but I made the decision that yes because what better way than to close my career years being in the number one grouping in the world, Grup Mania, and for me it’s a privilege, an honor and I’m super grateful to have been taken into consideration, ”de Vall said in a virtual press conference.

He promised to give the best of himself to the podium, for which he has already begun work.

The arrival of the new member occurs after the departure last Thursday of Barroso for personal reasons that Serrano said he does not know.

“The other member leaves for personal reasons, which we do not know, but we respect,” said the leader of the orchestra.

Serrano expressed his enthusiasm for the delivery of De la Vall, whom he had as a competition for the genre and a friend outside the stands.

“This guy is going to add a lot to the group and I’m super grateful to have him in the group,” he said of the performer, the entry was also received by the other two members, Daniel Serrano and Emmanuel Vizcarrondo. “We understand that it is a powerful tool to continue this legacy,” he continued.

De la Vall will have his first performance with the orchestra tomorrow, Tuesday, on Telemundo’s “Raymond and his friends” program.

Currently Grup Mania promotes the single “Hula Hoop”, composed by Daniel Serrano, with an arrangement that captures the rhythmic essence of the orchestra.
