The consistency that Raúl Gudiño has found in recent months with Guadalajara has been rewarded by the board. This Saturday, the white goalkeeper extended his contract with the tapatío team, reaching a multi-year agreement that includes a significant salary increase.
After the departure of Luis Fernando Tena and the arrival of Víctor Manuel Vucetich, Gudiño went from looking for options at other clubs to signing a major contract extension in less than a year. The 24-year-old goalkeeper shook hands with Ricardo Peláez and stamped his signature on the new documents this Saturday in Verd Vall.
In this way the chiverío also seems to move away the rumors on the possibility of looking for another archer in the summer, when names like the one of Rodolfo Cota already began to sound.
Raúl Gudiño, who at the end of this new agreement could be earning, according to performance and variables, up to three times his current salary, is Guadalajara’s bet for his short-term goal.
