If you have to wear a mask (and you do), it could also be a super cool, high-tech mask with a translucent plastic front, voice amplification technology, and RGB lighting effects.
Every year, at the annual Consumer Electronics Show, gaming hardware maker Razer presents conceptual projects that may or may not end up being realized. This year, along with a transformative gaming chair with a retractable screen, the company is showcasing Project Hazel, “the smartest face mask in the world.” It is an N95 mask with rechargeable active fans that provide two-way filtration. The part of the mask is transparent so people can see your smiling face. The silicon frame prevents the mask from tightening against the nose and mouth. And yes, the filters have RGB lighting, which can act as both load indicators and decoration.
As it is a reusable mask, Project Hazel would come with a wireless charging box with ultraviolet light sterilization functionality. The idea is for people to carry it all day and leave it in the box to clean it all night.

Razer’s has done an amazing job over the past year in terms of covid-19 relief, converting manufacturing lines in order to deliver more than a million disposable face masks to top-notch healthcare workers. That said, Project Hazel fits more than I imagine when I hear the words “Razer Face mask”.
Razer’s second CES concept is the Brooklyn Project. It is a transformative play chair. It has a folding screen that appears from the back of the headrest and a tray that unfolds from the armrests.
It’s a pretty good idea, although I don’t see it coming to fruition anytime soon.
If so, sign me up for an electric wheelchair adaptation.
