Federal agents of the National Institute of Migration (INM), And security features of new Lion they rescued 327 migrants this afternoon, including about 120 minors, who remained crowded and in unhealthy and subhuman conditions inside a safe house located in the municipality of Cadereyta.
During the inspection of the house it was found that the migrants were left without water, food and in subhuman conditions, overcrowding, vulnerability and unhealthy that endangered the lives of minors, women and adults in general.
The INM reported that this rescue was made possible by the work done by elements of the State Investigation Agency, who were following up on the case of a patient from a local hospital who died and was visited by some foreigners.
State agents located the home where several minors and foreign adults were apparently housed, giving notice to the INM to conduct a verification visit.
Subsequently, federal Migration agents, in coordination with elements of the State Investigation Agency, Municipal Police, Civil Force and National Guard (GN), arrived at the scene and proceeded to rescue the migrants.
