Capcom will reveal new details about Resident Evil People, the next major game in its horror franchise, as well as others Resident Evil franchise projects, during a live broadcast on Thursday. The Resident Evil Showcase video presentation will air at 5:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM PST.
Capcom will broadcast the event on its Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook channels. Brittney Brombacher of What’s Good Games will present the showcase with appearances by Resident Evil Village producers Peter Fabiano and Tsuyoshi Kanda.
In addition to nuts Resident Evil Village game footage, viewers should expect information on a new Resident Evil multiplayer game scheduled for the franchise’s 25th anniversary. Capcom also has a new animated series called Resident Evil Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, which will hit Netflix in 2021, and a new live-action film is slated to hit theaters.
Resident Evil Village was announced in June during the Sony PlayStation 5 unveiling event. The game will hit PS5, Windows PC and Xbox One sometime this year. People will be a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard; shares the protagonist of this game, Ethan Winters, and his first-person perspective.
