4K HDR / 60 FPS with ray tracing disabled
You took the Resident Evil Village broadcast yesterday? If not, Jordan has you covered.
The bottom line is that a 60-minute demonstration will arrive on May 1 and Mercenaries will return.
But shortly after the presentation, Capcom updated the game’s official site, adding some frequency reference for the different versions of the game. Ready? On a base, on top, PS5 and X-Series players are watching 4K HDR at 60 FPS. Well! This is pretty much what Capcom promised when the game was announced. Once you activate the ray tracing, it will drop to 45 FPS on the same platforms. The S Series can run 1440p HDR / 45 FPS, down to 30 FPS with ray tracing enabled.
In addition, the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X can run the game at 1080p / 60 FPS or 4K HDR at 30 FPS. The PS4 runs at 900p / 45 FPS and the Xbox One reaches 900p / 30 FPS. I ran for generations back for you! Oh, and Stadians, you’re in luck: 1080p 60 FPS or 4K 60 FPS are options.
Ugh!
You can find the full graphic below, as well as on the site, in the “Output Resolution and Expected Frame Rate” heading. I hope your platform and configuration of choice live up to your expectations.
I’ll just do the stripe layout and sail at 60 FPS on current consoles.
