Update: Three hours after publishing this article for the first time, the official PSN service status page now says there are no known issues to report. We assume this is the end, but this has still been one of the most widely reported PSN issues in a long time. I hope it’s a one-time!
Original story: Reportedly, PlayStation Network is experiencing several issues. At the time of writing, the official PSN service status page lists issues related to account management, games and social media, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Music. Basically, everything.
It’s been a long time, long since PlayStation Network had widespread problems, but it’s unclear how many people are affected by these problems. Right now, we’ve logged in to PS5 with nothing to report, but something is clearly happening for many other users.
Of course, we will update this article as we learn more.
