On Saturday, the 52-year-old talk show host announced her engagement to boyfriend Ross Burningham, sharing the exciting news on Instagram.
“Friends, I am very excited to share good news. I’m engaged! “Lake exclaimed.
“It simply came to our notice then. He is my person. It’s wonderful, “she continued.
In a recent interview with People, Lake said she and Burningham, who have been dating for more than a year, “literally pinch each other at this point in our lives.”
“Both of us, recently nests, feel that we are children again. We are full of gratitude and joy for what is to come, ”Lake said in the post.
Lake was previously married to Rob Sussman, with whom she shares two children, from 1994 to 2004. She later married Christian Evans from 2012 to 2015. Evans committed suicide in 2017 after a long battle with bipolar disorder.
Over the weekend, Lake told fans he was looking forward to the next chapter with Burningham.
“Our next chapter is sure to be good,” Lake added to Instagram, along with the hashtags “open heart,” “life is beautiful,” and “I believe in love.”
