Rosario, Indians swept Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT, PA, USA – Cal Quantrill allowed two hits in seven innings, Dominican Amed Rosario shook off an early home run and the Cleveland Indians beat the Los Angeles Angels 3-0 on Sunday in the Small League Classic.

As the rain subsided, the boys in the city were able to enjoy the festivities of the World Series of Small Leagues. They ran to the places for ice cream and candy, and burst inflated bars of thunder excitedly at every turn.

For the Indians, Dominicans Amed Rosary 4-3, one scored, two produced; José Ramírez of 4-0 and Franmil Reis of 3-0. Colombian Oscar Mercat 3-0. The Venezuelan Andrés Giménez 3-1.
