Routes for the COVID vaccine are accepted in downtown Dearborn

DEARBORN, Mich. – More appointments have been opened on Sunday 21 March to administer the COVID-19 vaccine at the Dearborn Consolidated Vaccination Center.

Sunday excursions are accepted from 2pm to 4pm on site.

Appointments for Sunday can be made on the city website by clicking here. Dating is for people 50 years of age or older.

By appointment and bystanders must live in Dearborn or six other communities.

Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine will be administered Sunday at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center vaccination center at 15801 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn.

Vaccines are for those living in Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford, Allen Park, Garden City, Melvindale and Dearborn.

The Dearborn Consolidated Vaccine Center has also opened appointments for Modern Two-Dose Vaccines on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th March for anyone aged 50 and over.

Announcements

Vaccines are available to designated residents through collaboration between the seven communities with support from Wayne County.

You need to enter masks that cover your mouth and nose to enter and stay in the building. People will be asked to show ID and show up at the door.

Communities follow the criteria set by Wayne County for those who meet the requirements for a vaccine.

CVS Health announced that it will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines to eligible Michiganders as early as Sunday, March 21 at five CVS pharmacy locations in Metro Detroit and eight statewide.
