Russell Westbrook makes history but the Wizards lose

Washington – The Orlando Magic defeated the Washington Wizards 130-120 on Saturday, despite another triple by Russell Westbrook, who debuted at his new home.

Westbrook added 15 points, the same number of rebounds and 12 assists. He thus became the fourth player in NBA history to get a triple-double in his team’s first two games in a season.

Magic Johnson got it twice, while Jerry Lucas and Oscar Robertson complete the list. Westbrook is the first player to achieve the feat with a new team.

It was acquired by Washington through an exchange that sent Houston to John Wall.

Terrence Ross scored 25 points to lead Orlando. Nikola Vucevic added 22 units and 17 rebounds, and Markelle Fultz scored 21 goals to help the Magic win their second straight game in a row early in the season.

Bradley Beal added 39 points for the Wizards, while Thomas Bryant added 19.
